[Cancelled: 14:30 on May 17th] Sustainable Town Walk
This "sustainable city walk" will delight everyone in the city, including you, me, and all the other creatures. We'll walk from the area around Kamakura Station, where the atmosphere of the ancient capital Kamakura remains in many places, to Yuigahama Beach, Asia's first Blue Flag certified beach, while also cleaning up the town. And this time, we've collaborated with New Columbus, a student group proud of Kamakura! We'll be introducing "SHOGO!", a game they developed to make picking up litter fun, and we'll have fun picking up litter while playing. Let's regenerate the earth in a fun, healthy way, with everyone's hands! Children and adults, familiar with Kamakura and newcomers, in Japanese and English, let's work together to make the earth more beautiful, regardless of barriers!
